Battle of the Bands
Congratulations to Crete, the winning act from the 2008 Lake County Fair's "Battle of the Bands" competition that took place on Friday, July 25 at the north end of the fairgrounds.
Band members include Socrates Kaitson of Lindenhurst, Neal Anderson
of Winthrop Harbor, and Steve McCarthy & Joe Kopecky of Lake Villa.
Crete's next performance will be on August 13 when they perform near the west entrance of U.S. Cellular Field, prior to the White Sox game.
